Benefits of Membership
When you join the SHRM Georgia Foothills Chapter you will become a part of the network of HR Professionals in Northeast Georgia. Member benefits include:
- Participation in our monthly meetings, including all fees, meals and parking.
- The opportunity to obtain SHRM and HRCI recertification credits for attending chapter programming.
- Access to HR professionals and companies in Northeast Georgia. This will create a network for you to tap into when gathering information on how other local organizations handle various human resource situations, procedures, policies, etc.
- Local professional development opportunities to improve your HR competencies and advance yourself professionally.
- Relationships and contacts with other local companies.
- Volunteer opportunities to gain experience, skills and knowledge by participating on Georgia Foothill's committees and projects.
Membership InformationWhat is the difference between membership in the Georgia Foothills Chapter and the National Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)? Memberships are individual only, not corporate, and are not transferable. Membership in National SHRM is not required, but is strongly encouraged. |
Fees
Chapter membership is for twelve (12) months and yearly member dues will be invoiced upon renewal date.
To achieve the mission of the Chapter, there will be no discrimination in individual memberships because of race, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, veteran's status, or any other legally protected class.
Annual per Member fees for 2026:
- SHRM National Member: $135.00
- Non-SHRM National Member: $150.00
- Each additional member after three others from same company: $63.00
- Student Member: $40.00

NOTE: If you choose to print an invoice and mail in a payment, your renewal status will take 7 to 10 business days to update. Please contact a board member if you would like to register for an event during the interim period between joining and payment being received.
