Foothills of GA SHRM College Scholarship

The Foothills of GA SHRM Chapter has established a scholarship program to foster excellence in human resources by encouraging and assisting in the professional development of students pursuing an undergraduate degree in Human Resources Management at an accredited college or university in Northeast Georgia.

Scholarship(s) will be awarded up to a total of $1,500.00 per school year.  The award may be used for undergraduate studies and will be paid in one lump sum made payable to the student.

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of potential to succeed, school and community activities, honors, work experience, statement of education and career goals, personal or family circumstances, and outside recommendations.  Selection of recipients is made by the Chapter Board.

The program is independently managed by the Chapter and the awards are given without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability and national origin.
