Workplace Mental Health…. Everybody’s Business

 As we have lived through and slowly emerge from a worldwide Pandemic, mental health concerns remain at the forefront for many. In fact, mental health experts have predicted that mental health issues will be the “second wave” of COVID-19.  Research has already shown dramatic increases in rates of depression, anxiety, substance abuse and suicide.  The true impact will likely become more obvious as we move out of crisis mode and return to more of a pre-COVID lifestyle.

Given the important role Human Resources plays in both the health of employees and their organization, it is important for  HR professionals to be aware of and prepared to appropriately address issues that can negatively impact the workplace.

This objective of this presentation is to raise awareness of the need for professionally approaching and addressing mental health issues at work by a review of the following:
